According to the World Health Organization, mental wellness is defined as “a state of well-being in which the individual realizes his or her own abilities, can cope with the normal stresses of life, can work productively and fruitfully, and is able to make a contribution to his or her community.”

Becoming educated on stress will benefit your mental wellness in ways you never imagined. A mentally well athlete is able to sustain a high level of performance and passion for their sport.

The common stress response is anxiety, uncontrolled emotions, negative habit formation, and damaging communication. All of which has a negative impact on performance, overall wellbeing, development and can have damaging long term effects on mental health.

We will help you improve your mental performance and wellness through an in-depth understanding of stress along with new skills to manage it. This course will help you understand the role of stress in your life.
